We are Gijs Sluijters and Joris Tol, creative directors at Dentsu Creative Amsterdam.
This portfolio contains a rough selection of projects we’ve done over the years at Ogilvy, DDB & Tribal, INDIE, Famous Brussels and FHV/BBDO.

We believe it's harder than ever to keep someone's attention for longer than a split second. 
That's why we like to think differently and jump into uncharted waters to find new ways of doing things and telling stories. 
A good idea can be executed in all kinds of media. That's why we prefer to work across multiple disciplines and channels. 

As graduates from the Willem the Kooning Academy, we started out in advertising in 2008. 2 years later we won a GOLD Lion with 'Mars Messages'. In 2013, we made 'Volkswagen Das Hund', the 2nd most viewed ad on Youtube in the Netherlands. And in 2021, our 'Volvo Lifesaver' initiative helped making Ogilvy Amsterdam Most Awarded Dutch Agency at Cannes Lions.
Since joining Dentsu in 2021, the agency became finalist ‘Agency of the Year’ in the Netherlands’ twice, coming out on top in 2023. And in 2024 we won a Cannes Lions GRAND PRIX for 'Piece of me' for our client KPN. We also secured the prestigious Dutch Ministry of Defense account, further solidifying Dentsu Creative's position as a leading agency in the Netherlands.

Over the years our work has been recognised by D&AD, Cannes Lions, Eurobest, FWA, Young Guns and Dutch ADCN among others. Our work is featured by major press titles such as Contagious, Shots, Fast Company, Huffington Post, The Drum, Little Black Book, Creativity Online, Frame Magazine, Adweek and many more.
